Welcome to my blog page. My name is Sandhya Drew. I am a labour lawyer born and now based in London. For 20 years, I practised full time as a specialist barrister from the famous Tooks Chambers. I still hold my practising certificate and take instructions, but I now focus on teaching, research and policy advisory work as well as writing on labour law and business and human rights. My close focus is labour at the edges of established society and how work shades into forced labour. I have an interest in comparing labour law mainly, though not exclusively, with India (through my matrilineage) and France (through a regular visiting professorship). I plan to share thoughts in occasional blogs and I welcome guest posts.
